The Table: There is a safe haven that keeps me vested at all times. That place represents my "kitchen table." It's where I feed my thought-life with positive words of inspiration and motivation. I always have enough to share with others. I'll invite you to sit with me as I discuss matters of the heart, mind, and spirit through poetry.
-
The Living Room: Welcome. Come inside and have a seat..Make yourself at home. Now, let us share our views on things that we don't always discusss openly with others. In this room, I share poetry pertaining to our communities, politics, and cultures.
-
The Bedroom: In this place, I share some of my favorite poems about love, romance, and semi-erotica. I don't use "certain words" in my writing, but I do use creativity to express just enough to allow you to experience the moment - in poetry. Some of the poems here are beautiful expressions of comitment. Other poems are so spicey that... well, you'll figure it out.
-
The Basement: This room is a lot different from every other room in the house. It's full of random thoughts and opinions, including blogs, articles, new releases, and more. Sometimes, it's loud and crowded. Other times, it's quiet and cozy. And there are also some times when you just may walk in on a jam session or two with a few friends of mine in the studio.

When artists share their work with me, I feel as though I am being invited into an aspect of their world, their enviroment. Sometimes, the experience represents an insightful perspective on things that are unfamiliar or bazzar. Other times, the experience represents much needed prodding for me to continue to look deeper into my thoughts, my life, and my beliefs. Does life immitate art or does art immitate life? I won't try to answer that question here, but I will say that I cannot imagine life without art any easier than I can imagine art without life. Creativity itself is life.
In these pages (room themes), I will share some of my written poetry, prose and thoughts with you in a few different forms. You will notice that the mood for each section of my writing will be set to a different look and feel based on the topics discussed.
These four rooms represent the different styles and perspectives that I share through poetry. I hope you enjoy your stay -- and I hope you stop by to visit often.
